Directions
From North of Wilmington (Philadelphia and Points North)
Take I-95 South to exit 6 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd) in Delaware. Continue straight from ramp to fourth light. Turn left onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. At the 8th traffic light (Orange Street), turn right onto Orange Street. Go under tracks (one block); cross Water Street. Road dead-ends into DTC driveway.
From South of Wilmington (Newark, DE and Points South)
Take I-95 North to exit 6 (Maryland Avenue). At bottom of exit ramp, bear right at the light onto Maryland Avenue. At first light, bear right onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Continue to 5th traffic light (Orange Street). Turn right at the light onto Orange Street. Go under tracks (one block); cross Water Street. Road dead-ends into DTC driveway.
Parking
DTC Parking Lot
For Wednesday matinee performances, parking is available along the rear (Water Street) or side (Orange Street) of DTC. For evening and weekend performances, parking is available at the end of either Avenue of the Arts or Orange Street, outside the DTC front entrance.
Tatnall St. Lot
Excluding Wednesday matinee performances, parking is available in the Barclays parking lot adjacent to the theatre. parking available evenings and weekends.
Amtrak Train Station
Park in the Colonial Parking Lot next to the Amtrak station (South French Street). It's a short walk (about 3 blocks) from the station. Cost is $10 for a full day, or $1/hour.
Shipyard Shops Parking Lot
Park in the lot near the Shipyard Shops and either get a little exercise by walking down the Riverwalk or take the Wilmington Trolley (DART line 32) to the Theatre (there is a stop at Orange Street).
