Straight from New York City, Great Balls of Fire brings the legendary ivory smashing of  rock ’n’ roll superstar Jerry Lee Lewis back to life. Jason Cohen has played Jerry Lee in nearly 300 performances around North America. Backed by a three-piece band, he embodies Jerry Lee with an energy that BroadwayWorld calls “dangerously explosive.” Great Balls of Fire features more than 20 hits from the ’50s and beyond, including “Good Golly Miss Molly,” “Shake, Rattle, and Roll,” and, of course, “Great Balls of Fire.” This electrifying act will have you shakin’ and dancin’!

With Broadway veteran music director James Sampliner on the keys and special guests (both people and puppets!), expect lots of laughs and memories from his leading roles in Mrs. Doubtfire, Beetlejuice, Chaplin, Something Rotten!, Honeymoon in Vegas, Noises Off, and Avenue Q. Lots to smile about.

Jenna pays homage to one of her favorite divas in Get Happy!This cleverly curated cabaret saluting Judy Garland features music from The Wizard of Oz, Easter Parade, Judy Live at Carnegie Hall, and more. You won’t want to miss Jenna’s spirited celebration of Judy’s legacy, featuring Gina Giachero on the keys. Jenna, a New York City resident, is originally from Swarthmore, PA, and has appeared in DTC’s Honk!, Diner, Because of Winn Dixie, Burt & Me, and South Pacific. Laura is a New York–based performer, most recently seen playing Miss Sandra in All Shook Up at the Westchester Broadway Theatre. She created a high-energy one-woman musical revue, Once Upon a Stage, and has been performing it in theatres across the country.

Maya Belardo, jazz songbird, first fell in love with the artform and began performing at cultural events in Wilmington at age 10. In 2013, Maya performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the American High School Honors Performance Choir. She vowed to return as a headliner one day.

Clare O'Malley is a New York City–based actress and singer, hailing from Dublin, Ireland. She continues to perform on both sides of the Atlantic. Clare starred as Joan in Saint Joan and as Hetty in Hetty Feather at DTC. She also originated the role of Beth in the musical Something Wicked This Way Comes. Her one-woman show is entitled My #WhitePrivilege Immigration Story.

The Whitney Project is a jazz band assembled by Jonathan Whitney, drummer and composer. Jonathan manages performance programs and community engagement at the Delaware Art Museum and is the artist-in-residence at the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew. In 2020 he received the Delaware Division of the Arts Established Artist Fellowship for Jazz Composition.

The first show in our Front and Center series features acclaimed performer and vocalist Jonathan Mousset. Jonathan has played Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys throughout the country. Join us as he brings his effortless falsetto to the front steps of DTC. Jonathan will be accompanied by the classically trained, world-renowned pianist Vince di Mura. Vince arranged the music for the smash hit musical, My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra. di Mura has performed and conducted on concert stages and in theaters throughout North America, Canada and Latin America.
